wow.  can't believe it myself.

my personal situations is really fucked up right now.  i honest to god was planning to do a lil write up about camu for my blog but i just can't do it right now.  but, this is one of things i was going to include in the write up.

...it's an unreleased sa smash track from smashy trashy.  to my knowledge this was one of the 1st recordings for the lp.  przm gave me a tape so we could listen to it in the car of some of the songs they had recorded.  it was fuck you 2, jerezyed out, and last night...the one with the led zepplin sample.  not sure why it did not make the cut, but it's a great track. 

the quality isn't the best.  the highs are a little low.  and you can here pops from time to time to where i am guessing when przm taped this, he just had it recorded to high.

....camu and met once saved the fonoslut mansion from burning down.  nobody was at the mansion and of course the front door was wide open.  it was basically an open door policy.

so somehow some smoking device in the ash tray caught on fire and it spread to the couch.  met and camu happen to be  walking by the mansion when they saw a  fire and smoke coming out the front door.  camu and met ran in the house and put out the fire and saved our mansion from being completely burned down.  that would have been alot of equipment and records.  half the couch was burned by the time they got to it.


another quick story about camu, it was the 1st time we had ever done a show...it was at roots in april '99.  this was the crew i dj'd for when we where in high school.  anyways, we had beats on dat tapes but for some reason there was no dat machine for the show that night.  so camu had beats on tape that he let us use so we could still do a set that night.  he barely knew us, im sure he knew our faces from previous shows but it was cool he let us use his beats to rock to.
